Think not what the club may do for you rather think what may I do for the club.
With this in mind I decided to build an SHGC club house on the Montmin Paragliding Launch in Annecy. At present it is just one room and I have yet to arrange the interior. Please note that bedding etc is not provided.
The modular construction is easily extended if members wish. So if you have ideas for the interior or extensions please let me know.
Access is free to members but local rules limit occupation to between sunset and sunrise though it can be used for shelter during the day. You should have no trouble finding it as it is quite literally a few feet from the mat. It blends well with the local surroundings and in case you have difficulty spotting it I have included a photo below.
For members interested in erecting similar buildings I will be publishing a step by step guide on this blog. This will include photos and a list of tools. I will also be putting a sequence of photos on my Picasa Web Album.

Fabulous Irwyn; now we can ski-fly after a night in this superb accomodation. By the way, is it just an ig until you get the loo extension built? And where was Chunky while you were building it, I can’t see splashes of yellow around it. There sure will be when the SHGC members turn up.
Best wishes to you and Joan and Chunky, for Christmas and the New Year.
